Permits & conservation

Visits to gorillas, bonobos and certain protected sites require permits, Kwafrika Travel arranges all necessary permits and local guides on your behalf. Permit fees and availability vary by park and season. Some parks are not accessible because of whether security concerns or because of a lack of access road.

Health & vaccinations

Yellow fever vaccination is generally required and malaria prophylaxis is recommended. The country possess as huge epidemic and pandemic containment experiences thanks to past outbreak that it has had an opportunity to contain (Ebola, Covid-19,…)

The most comfortable windows are the drier periods, roughly June–September and December, February, when trails are easier and wildlife viewing improves.
