  • Between 30 and 59 days before departure: The company forfeits 30% of the total tour cost.
  • Fewer than 30 days before departure: The company forfeits 70% of the total tour cost.

Arrival and Airport Transfer

You will be picked up at N’djili International Airport by Kwafrika travel representative to whisk you away to your hotel and spend the rest of the evening unwinding.

Day 03 :
Kuba Cultural Dances & Voodoo Wrestling

Day 04 :
Kisantu Botanical Garden experience and Tata Gonda Community

You will leave too early from your hotel in Kinshasa to Kisantu. It takes 3 to 4 hours to reach Kisantu in the Kongo-Central where the Kisantu botanical garden and Zongo waterfalls are located. Upon your arrival in Kisantu, you will stop at Kisantu Botanical Garden. The Botanical Garden of Kisantu is the most beautiful botanical garden in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It was founded over a century ago by a missionary. Inside, you will find thousands of trees, thousands of plants, a school and the best restaurant in Kisantu. While wandering around you will spot a crocodile and two monkeys.

After Kisantu Botanical Garden you will be transferred to the Tata Gonda’s village where you will join the community in their daily prayer and meditation rituals. Observe their unique customs and practice, you will also Participate in any cultural activities or ceremonies that may be taking place. This could include traditional dances, music, or storytelling.

In the evening you will proceed to Selli Safari Resort for the overnight. Selli Safari Resort provides a lovely setting and spectacular scenery to the Zongo Waterfalls.

Day 05 :
Zongo waterfall experience

The gorgeous Zongo falls are one of DRC’s most spectacular sights. Getting to the viewpoints involves some hiking, but watching the water roaring over the precipice into the river below is unforgettable. What makes Zongo waterfalls unique is the water vapor that rises to the sky when the river water hits the ground. In the afternoon, proceed back to Kinshasa.

Day 06 :
Crossing to Brazzaville

The gorgeous Zongo falls are one of DRC’s most spectacular sights. Getting to the viewpoints involves some hiking, but watching the water roaring over the precipice into the river below is unforgettable. What makes Zongo waterfalls unique is the water vapor that rises to the sky when the river water hits the ground. In the afternoon, proceed back to Kinshasa.

Day 07 :
Lesio Louna & Bateke Kingdom

Your morning begins with a scenic drive the Bateke Plateau to reach the Lesio-Louna Reserve. Journey deep into the gallery forests to witness the quiet majesty of Western Lowland Gorillas in their natural sanctuary.

After Lesio Luna, you will head to Ngabe, the historic capital of the Bateke Kingdom. Immerse yourself in the region's spiritual soul with a traditional welcome and a high-energy ceremonial dance performance.

You will conclude the day with dinner under the stars, drifting off to the rhythmic sounds of the world's deepest river at your doorstep unwinding in a bungalow on the banks of the Congo River.

Queen Ngalifourou visit

You willbegin the day with a traditional gift-giving ceremony and a respectful audience with Queen Ngalifourou at her residence, offering a rare window into the spiritual and monarchical heart of the Bateke Kingdom.

In the Afternoon, you will explore Ngabe village to witness the artistry of traditional pirogue craftsmanship and the ancient fishing techniques of the local community.

Return to Brazzaville: Traverse the scenic plateaus on your journey back to the capital, concluding your expedition with a relaxing evening in the city.

Day 09 :
Brazzaville - Pointe Noire

Arrival in Pointe-Noire: Fly from the capital to the coast, transitioning from the Congo Basin's dense forests to the vibrant Atlantic port city of Pointe-Noire.

Kouilou Exploration: Journey to the breathtaking Diosso Canyonto admire its dramatic red cliffs. Reflect on the region's complex heritage by walking the "Slave’s Road" and visiting the historic Mâ Loango Palace.
